Member Spotlight: The Vetter Family
Paul Vetter, a true Tennessee Vol, originally from Memphis, graduated in 2000 when the Vols had an impressive record of 45-5. With over 20 years of experience, he now works as a Real Estate Broker at Berkadia, specializing in the sale of Multi-Family properties in Georgia. His lovely wife Lori, originally from Atlanta, is a proud UGA graduate who heads up the household with grace and love. They have two enthusiastic sports-loving sons, 9-year-old Luke, and 7-year-old Jude, with Luke following in his mom's UGA-loving footsteps and Jude keeping the Vol tradition alive on the field through Flag Football. The family's youngest is 4-year-old Annie, their little princess, who adds charm and joy to their lives. And we can’t forget the newest addition to the family, Dolly Marshmallow Pickles Vetter, a 17-week-old Golden Retriever who's bound to bring endless moments of laughter and companionship
As a family, the Vetters have a shared passion for adventure, and they've made a tradition of embarking on RV vacations during the Thanksgiving week. In 2020, they explored Virginia and DC, creating lasting memories. In 2021, they drove to Detroit to experience the Thanksgiving Day Lions game. In 2022, they set their sights on Texas, visiting the Alamo and Austin, all the while making cherished family memories.
Paul's favorite outdoor pastime is finding solace in the woods, where he discovers a unique sense of calmness that can't be replicated elsewhere. While his young children and wife often keep him busy, he cherishes these moments when he can escape into nature.
And speaking of their favorite football team, it's worth mentioning that the Vetters are true Detroit Lions fans. This passion was ignited by Jude's love for the animal but became an obsession, as he's a contrarian to his older brother Luke, who's a Falcons fan. The Vetters proudly declare that they are not bandwagon fans, and they have the pictures to prove it!
The Vetters bring a wonderful blend of sports, adventure, and a love for the great outdoors to our community. We're delighted to have them as members and look forward to witnessing their future family adventures.
