Gun season is upon us and day light savings time takes effect on Sunday, November 5th, which will make for more timely hunts and arrivals back home for day trips!
Don’t forget to obtain your license prior to hunting and to download the Go Outdoors Georgia App to log your hunt.
Member and guest sign out is required prior to each hunt and priority is offered on a first come, first served basis unless otherwise noted by management.
Bohanon is equipped with a variety of amenities. In this edition, we are featuring the gun range which is within walking distance to the basecamp and is open for use between the hours of 10:00-1:00 each day.
Members and guests should sign out for the range at the cleaning shed before and after use. No vehicle traffic is allowed beyond the basecamp when the shooting range is occupied.
Effective Friday, November 17th, we are extending access to the basecamp camper for member overnight stays for a nominal fee. Visit our website to book your stay!
Firearms should be unloaded, secured and carefully hoisted with a durable rope into elevated stands when ascending and descending. We encourage all hunters to carry their own hoisting devices in their gear bag.
An article of reflective orange clothing (hat, vest and/or shirt) should be warn at all times when traversing and hunting on the property throughout hunting season.
