Member Spotlight: The Mottola Family

Meet the Mottola’s!

Introducing Van Mottola and his family, avid outdoor enthusiasts and members of the Bohanon Farms community.

The Mottola family journey with Bohanon Farms began with a simple introduction from a friend, sparking a love affair with the property that has left a lasting impact on their lives.

Van Mottola, alongside his wife Jessica and their two daughters, Amelia (12) and Lucy (8), are happy they discovered Bohanon Farms. Drawn in by the promise of adventure and the natural beauty of Coweta, they eagerly embraced the opportunity to become part of the club.

One standout memory for Van is his first encounter with the property's wildlife. A ranger tour led them to a surprising sight - a piebald doe nestled among the planted pines. This rare sighting left them in awe of the wonders that awaited them at Bohanon Farms. Another cherished memory involves a family hike that led them to stumble upon an ancient cemetery, a testament to the rich history that permeates the land.

For the Mottola family, Bohanon Farms has become a cornerstone of their long-term plans and lifestyle. With a love for the outdoors deeply ingrained in their upbringing, they relish the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. Whether it's scouting for game or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll, Bohanon Farms provides the perfect backdrop for family bonding and outdoor adventures.

What truly sets Bohanon Farms apart for the Mottola family is the sense of camaraderie fostered within the community. From gatherings at base camp to lively conversations around the Gather Grill, they have found a second family among their fellow members. The warmth and kindness extended to them have made them feel right at home, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Membership at Bohanon Farms has not only enriched the Mottola family's lives but has also brought them closer to others. Through shared experiences and a mutual love for the outdoors, they have forged lasting friendships that extend beyond the boundaries of the club.

Jessica, with her background in real estate, has found a renewed passion in exploring the vast landscapes of Bohanon Farms. Meanwhile, Amelia and Lucy, with their boundless energy and love for exploration, thrive in the freedom that the property provides. Whether it's playing volleyball, skateboarding, or simply enjoying a day of fishing.
